This course focuses on teaching various computer applications. Students will learn word processing, use of spreadsheets, and creating presentations. They will also be introduced to essential concepts of information technology including working in a network environment, communication, finding and using on-line resources, intellectual property concepts, and new developments including Web 2.0. This course meets the .5 credit requirement for AES graduation.

Internet and web design is an introduction to the Internet that includes its history, and its accompanying ethical and societal issues. The class focus is on Internet applications/Web2.0, finding and using Internet resources, creating content, and web site design. It is a course for all high school students and meets the high school graduation requirement
